On April 26, 2024, at a meeting of the Government, Resolution No. 455 of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine "On Amendments to Resolution No. 483 of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated June 5, 2019" was approved, which, in particular, extended the validity period of the Regulation on the special obligations on participants of the electric energy market to ensure public interests in the process of functioning of the electric energy market (PSO) until May 31, 2024.

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine extended the effect of the regulation on imposing special obligations on market participants, according to which a fixed price for household consumers was set at the level of UAH 2.64/kWh  until May 31, 2024. According to the previous decision of the Government, the PSO and the corresponding price were valid until April 30, 2024.
