The Cabinet of Ministers has extended the imposition of special obligations (PSO) on providing electricity to the population until April 30, 2024.

On December 27, 2023, at a meeting of the Government, Resolution No. 1375 of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine "On Amendments to Resolution No. 483 of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated June 5, 2019" was approved, which, in particular, extended the validity period of the Regulation on the special obligations on participants of the electric energy market to ensure public interests in the process of functioning of the electric energy market (PSO) until April 30, 2024.

The specified resolution establishes the application of  of a fixed price for all individual and collective domestic consumers (including dormitories), as well as consumers (consumer purposes), which are defined in the eleventh paragraphs — the fourteenth point 13 of chapter XVII “Final and transitional provisions” of the Law of Ukraine “On the Electric Energy Market” of collective household consumers, which will operate until April 30, 2024. Including in the amount of UAH 2.64/kWh with VAT for  all consumed volume

 At the same time,  the coefficients of two- and three-zone electric energy accounting have been preserved and left unchanged.
