The Cabinet of Ministers has extended the imposition of special obligations (PSO) regarding the provision of electricity to the population until December 31, 2023.

On 30.05.2023, at a meeting of the Government, Resolution No. 544 of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine "On Amendments to Resolution No. 483 of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of June 5, 2019" was approved, which, in particular, extended the validity period of the Regulation on the establishment of special obligations on the participants of the electric energy market to ensure public interests in the process of functioning of the electric energy market (PSO) until December 31, 2023.

The specified resolution establishes the application of a fixed price for electric energy for all individual and collective household consumers (in particular, dormitories), as well as consumers (purposes of consumption), which are defined in paragraphs eleven — the fourteenth point 13 of chapter XVII “Final and transitional provisions” of the Law of Ukraine "On the Electricity Market", which will be effective from June 1, 2023 to December 31, 2023, inclusive, in the amount of UAH 2.64. (with VAT) for 1 kWh.
At the same time, the coefficients of two- and three-zone electric energy accounting have been preserved and left unchanged.

If the consumer disagrees with the price change, he has the right to terminate the contract.
