It all starts with trust

Do you know what rapport is? :)

Quarantine and self-isolation were not in vain. Together with other units of OOEK TOV, experts from the Black Sea CSC participated in online training on relevant topics such as Stress Resistance, Criticism, and Feedback.

Training participants studied:

- Correctly respond to criticism
- Establish customer feedback without crossing borders
- Highlight the positive aspects and growth points, give support ...
- Install rapport for communication and openness in relationships
- Use helpful phrases in speech.

Specialists were especially active in analyzing real critical comments from clients and building a general response model in difficult situations.

There was one more task. Build a "rapport" with all members of the team. And a little helper confidence exercise, Blind Spot.

The head of the Black Sea division Olga Nevestenko shares her impression:

"For the Black Sea unit, the task of establishing rapport with colleagues became a real gift ... Immediately after the conference, I invited my team to go through a challenge: on condition of anonymity, write 3 positive and 2 negative qualities of each other, and then read what happened to anyone. It was Friday and everyone went home emotionally, all weekend Challenge was discussed by us in the Viber group. It was very exciting and interesting at the same time. But for me it was important that everyone was united at that moment. Each of us thought of others. Remembered the good qualities. By the way, good qualities came to mind quite quickly, but they had to think about the bad ones, and when they came up with it, they thought about how to put it more softly so as not to offend a person. On Monday, the deal was done and all employees wrote notes on the terms of the challenge. All notes were collected in a special ballot box. The question arose of how to read these sheets, either individually or individually. We really did not know what was written there. As a leader, I risked ruining the relations in the team or, on the contrary, improving them. But we collectively decided to read all the records out loud! And so they did. Reading our qualities took about 30 minutes. It was very exciting and unexpected. It was even fun thanks to our guys recordings. Many employees, including me, heard qualities that they did not know about themselves, and this was amazing. Yes, I will not hide, there were grievances. But to date, these questions have been exhausted. In the evening of the same day we discussed the results of the challenge in Viber and Yes! We got closer! At the end of our collective rapport, a trip to nature was arranged for barbecue. We made a short video about this trip. "

PS/ Rapport (from the English rapport) is a state of resonance, which in psychology is commonly called mutual understanding, emotional and intellectual unity. Simply put - people in rapport are on the same wavelength. The presence of rapport indicates that a system has formed, people begin to act as a whole.

We thank the team of Chernomorsk for a vivid example of team building!
