The Cabinet of Ministers has extended the imposition of special obligations (PSO) on providing electricity to the population until March 31, 2023.

(The single fixed price for electricity for household consumers is maintained until March 31, 2023)

On October 28, 2022, at a meeting of the Government, Resolution No. 1206 of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine "On Amendments to Resolution No. 483 of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated June 5, 2019" was approved, which, in particular, extended the term of validity of the Provision on Imposition of Special Obligations’ obligations on participants of the electric energy market to ensure public interests in the process of functioning of the electric energy market (PSO) until March 31, 2023.

This resolution extended the use of a single fixed price for electricity for household consumers – UAH 1.68/kWh.

 At the same time,  the coefficients of two- and three-zone electric energy accounting have been preserved and left unchanged.
